GLORIOUS SACRIFICE
Over two thousand years ago, a man walked on this earth, He was born of man and woman, but He was God in the Spirit and man in the flesh.
To the majority of people in the world, Jesus is an honored historical figure who was the founder of Christianity—but that is about as far as it goes.
Many have no idea that His most wonderful life had an unsurpassed effect on the history of man.
He went to Calvary and did His very best all for us.
Scripture says, Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
John 15:13
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
The Father demonstrates His infinite love through His Son’s sacrifice, who offered Himself willingly for your temporal and eternal well-being.
In fact, without the birth, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ, life on planet earth would be incomprehensibly different from what it is today.
Whether you’re already a believer or discovering God’s love for the first time, you never move away from the vital need for Jesus’ death on your behalf.
His glorious sacrifice includes your full salvation—regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. His death is your life!
Oh what a matchless love displayed.
Oh what a glorious sacrifice.
Lord, we are grateful for your body, we are grateful for your precious blood shed on Calvary for the redemption of our sins.
Through His glorious sacrifice we have eternal covenant with the Father.
